Are you an authorized Thor service provider?

No. We're an independent repair service, not affiliated with Thor. If your Thor appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, check with Thor first; once it's out of warranty, we diagnose it by model and serial number and use genuine OEM parts when they're available.

Do you repair 18-inch dishwashers in small apartment kitchens?

Yes. Compact 18-inch models use the same kinds of pumps, valves, seals and controls as full-size machines, though the parts themselves are specific to each model. Share the model and serial from the edge of the door when booking so parts can be checked ahead of the visit.

Can you repair European-brand wall ovens in Paradise condos?

Yes. Many compact and European-style ovens use brand-specific fans, sensors and boards, so we diagnose by model and serial and confirm part availability early. Some parts take time to arrive, so plan for a possible second visit if a part has to be ordered.

How often should I replace the charcoal filter in a recirculating microwave?

Many manufacturers suggest roughly every six months, sooner with heavy cooking. A saturated filter stops trapping odors and grease, and the fan works harder. Metal grease screens can usually be washed by hand in hot soapy water, but the charcoal filter is replaced, not cleaned.

Which Thor appliances do you repair in Paradise?

Thor Appliances in Paradise Homes

Thor Oven / Ranges

Oven types track the housing. Apartments mostly have freestanding ranges with a standard oven below, owned and replaced by the property. Single-family homes may have built-in wall ovens from earlier remodels, set in cutouts that don't always match current sizes. Some condo owners have updated with 24-inch or European-style wall ovens that suit a tight kitchen.

Thor Microwaves

Recirculating over-the-range microwaves in Paradise apartments pull cooking grease straight into their filters and fan. When the charcoal filter saturates and the grease screens clog, the fan strains and the cabinet runs hot above the range. Shared rental kitchens add slammed doors, which wear the latch and the safety interlock switches behind it. A microwave that stops heating after hard door use often points to those switches.

Houses, Condos, Rentals & Garages

If a dishwasher in an upstairs unit leaks, close its supply valve under the sink, turn off its breaker and tell the HOA or property manager right away. Landlords can ask tenants to clean the filter and photograph the model label on the door edge, which often shortens the visit. Empty the sink cabinet so every connection is within reach.
