My refrigerator in a 89103 condo runs constantly. Is it broken?

Not necessarily. Built-in alcoves in condos can trap heat, and a dirty condenser makes it worse. Check for an inch or more of clearance above the unit and clean the grille. If it still runs nonstop and feels warm inside, a fan or start component may be failing.

Why is frost building up thickly along the back panel of my upright freezer? What does that mean?

It often means the automatic defrost system has failed, through a heater, sensor or control fault. Move the food, then book a diagnosis; manually defrosting only buys temporary relief. Thick frost can also block the fan and stress the compressor if the problem is left alone.

My ice maker makes small, hollow cubes. What does that mean?

Usually the mold is not filling completely. A clogged filter, a scaled inlet valve or low water pressure are common causes. Replace the filter first; if cubes stay small, the valve likely needs testing or replacement. Low pressure from a saddle valve or kinked line can cause the same result.
