Thor Oven / Range Repair Near Me in Enterprise & Mountain's Edge, Clark County, NV

Thor builds its ovens around professional-style gas and dual-fuel designs with high-output burners, and that design decides where faults tend to appear. Thor sells professional-style appliances at a lower price point, which means heavier hardware with lighter electronics — and the electronics tend to fail first.

For an error code right after a power interruption, the first suspects on a Thor oven are a control board that needs a reset or has taken a voltage hit. On Thor ovens, food that burns on one side and stays pale on the other usually points to temperature sensor drift, a failed convection fan or an element that has stopped working. A door that won't close tightly on a Thor oven generally traces back to worn hinges or a door gasket that has hardened and shrunk. What is particular to Thor is where the wear shows up — igniter and spark module faults, oven thermostat faults and convection fan faults.

With a Thor oven, start with the simple things. After a power blip, turn off the oven's breaker for a minute to reset the control. On an electric oven, look at the bake element for blisters or breaks once it is cool. Avoid running self-clean right before a holiday or big meal. Turn off the breaker before touching an element, and on gas models close the supply valve before anything is moved.
